SOCIAL FEBRUARY 10TH AND LUNCHEON FEBRUARY 10th and 11th – 2010
The topic of discussion will be about the Shot Clock. Local officials will elaborate on how they are adapting to this new process.
The FCC approved new rules in November 2009 which will require jurisdictions to rule on new tower and antenna co-locate applications within a set time-frame. These rules, known as the “shot clock,” will mean changes in the typical zoning and review process that most jurisdictions have in place. The speaker panel will discuss the effect these rules will have on major metropolitan areas in Mississippi and Louisiana.
